ERASMUS STUDENT MOBILITY CALL-SIVAS CUMHURIYET UNIVERSITY( TURKEY)-

I am pleased to inform you that we have finally received the quotas for Student Mobility Call. You can access the call at https://erasmus.cumhuriyet.edu.tr/erasmus-incoming-student-mobility-call-2022-2023-ka171/.

 

Students interested in participating in an Erasmus Mobility program at Sivas Cumhuriyet University should apply through the University system at https://erasmus.cumhuriyet.edu.tr/erasmus/incoming/ka171-application-form-std/. 

The application form is quite detailed, so we kindly request your assistance in guiding your students through the application process. We emphasize that all applicants must complete the application themselves, as signatures are required.

 

Once an application is received from your university, you will receive a notification along with the applicant's files. The application period is set to start on November 1, 2023, and the deadline for students to complete their applications is November 19, 2023, by 23:59 Turkish Time. Please be aware that the system will automatically close at the deadline, and no extensions will be granted.

 

Regarding the evaluation process, after the deadlines have passed, we will screen out any ineligible applications and provide you with a list for your evaluation. We kindly ask you to assess the candidates based on the following criteria:

 

During the application, all students need to submit a placement test result from EU Academy. The EU Academy placement score can be obtained online through the link provided in the call within 40-50 minutes and will constitute 25% of the final language score. Any other exam result or certificate will not be accepted.

Please evaluate your student's language and communication proficiency out of 100, considering the following breakdown:

Motivation (25%)

EU Academy Language Score (25%)
 

A1 – Ineligible

A2 – Ineligible

B1 – 10 points

B2 – 15 points

C1- 20 points
C2 – 25 points
 

This score represents the student's grade point average. Sivas Cumhuriyet University uses a 0.00/4.00 grading system, and if your university employs a different system, please convert the CGPA score out of 100.  (We will send you an Excel document which will help you for the conversions along with the list of applicants)  If your institution uses a unique grading system, please promptly inform us for guidance.

 

PREVIOUS MOBILITY:

For each previous mobility in the current cycle (Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D), 10 points will be deducted from the total score. Students are required to submit certificates of attendance for their previous mobilities. No deduction will be made for completed cycles.

 

DISABILITY:

Documented proof of disability will add 10 points to the applicant's total score.

 

TURKISH CITIZENS:

If the applicant is a citizen of the Turkish Republic, 20 points will be deducted from the total score.

APPLICATION TO MORE THAN ONE TYPE OF MOBILITY

10 points will be deducted from the total points of the applicant when/if the applicant applies for both mobility types: student mobility for studies and traineeship. If the applicant has not participated in an Erasmus+ mobility program before, the deduction will be applied to the second application. However, if the applicant has previously participated in an Erasmus+ mobility program, the deduction will be multiplied by 2 and applied to the type of mobility previously undertaken. The deduction mentioned in the table above will be applied to the second mobility type that has not been experienced before.

 

EVALUATION COMMITTEE

 

 

At least one professor in the related language department

At least one representative of the Erasmus Office

At least one representative of the university administration (or an authorized individual acting on behalf of the legal representative)
 

Please complete this process before the deadline to allow us to announce the results in a timely manner and provide the selected candidates with ample time for the next steps (getting their visa, buying an affordable ticket etc.)
