GIS Day at the University of Nairobi

This year World GIS day celebrations will be held at the University of Nairobi, CAVS.  The day "provides an international forum for users of geographic information systems (GIS) technology to demonstrate real-world applications that are making a difference in our society". In this event, local and International organizations, students and lecturers from various colleges will showcase various GIS applications such as cartography skills, research posters as well as networking with representatives from these organizations.
