Contract for the proposed University of Nairobi Towers signed

Prof. George Magoha, Vice Chancellor, UoN exchanges signed copies of the contract with Mr. Liu Hui, China Wu Yi Company.

The University of Nairobi (UoN) has signed a contract with China Wu Yi Construction Company for the construction of the proposed University of Nairobi Towers which will be located at the Main Campus.

The contract which was signed today by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. George Magoha on behalf of the University and Mr. Liu Hui on behalf China Wu Yi Company marks the beginning of a process that will increase academic and administrative facilities once the project is completed. The project will assert and affirm the University as the leader in architectural thought, innovation and champion towards the provision of environmentally friendly solutions.

Prof. Peter Mbithi, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration and Finance, Prof. Bernard Njoroge, Principal, College Architecture and Engineering and Mrs. Rebecca Ngondo, Chief Legal Officer among others were present during the signing of the contract.

Its a good thing for the university,the project will assert and affirm the university as the leader in architectural thought and innovation as you put it but why don't u build it on your own instead of the china company?
