It is Monday the 2nd of December and still my name is not on the graduation list!
Attempts to reach the responsible individuals are fruitless no one is clear on why I am still not on the first graduation list nor second graduation list.
All am being told is that all my units are okay and that I will appear on the next list. The 25th Nov list came and my name was still not on the list. Beyond 3rd Dec, will there be a 3rd list released surely? And if there will be, what time am I expected to clear with all the department. Knowing UON, this is going to be a big hustle, maybe even impossible.
Could somebody please do something.

Pathetic!

Why is my University not making me proud. Its supposed to be the center for excellence but unfortunately its still analogue in this digital era. Picture this. I got enrolled at Mombasa campus, did everything at Mombasa till completion. Come clearance, i was required to travel to Nairobi to drop my copies of the project report and to clear with some other departments. A week later, i am required to travel again to go and hire a gown. A week later, i will be required to travel again for the graduation ceremony. Surely, in this age devolution age, shouldn't Msa and maybe Kisumu campuses be devolved? At least for some services like clearance and gown hiring. Graduation ceremony may be left to the central government, the main campus. Our president is setting the pace for digitization when he should be following us. My University, why are you disappointing me?
