Ms. Catherine Kadogo Kitonde, a UoN staff and MSC student, from School of Biological Sciences ,College of Biological and Physical Sciences was awarded The Essential Electronic Agricultural Library (TEEAL) Best Research Paper Competition 2011 Category 2, MSc student Second prize on 26th of October 2011 for her paper titled "Antimicrobial Activity and Phytochemical Study of Vernonia glabra (Steetz) Oliv. & Hiern. in Kenya"
