Following the successful completion of two intensive days of fieldwork across Mwala, Kangundo, and Masinga sub-counties, the research team has now reconvened for the next phase of the study.
Over the final two days of this rigorous exercise, the team is engaged in data consolidation, preliminary analysis, and collaborative sense-making. This involves a systematic review of all data gathered from the field, allowing each sub-team to present and discuss key findings with the wider group.
The process is centered on the essential research question: “What did we find?” Through structured debriefs and thematic clustering, the team is identifying initial patterns, insights, and community-level narratives related to opportunities for women’s economic empowerment in Machakos County.
This collaborative analysis will directly inform the development of the first draft of the overall study report. A crucial step toward translating raw data into actionable recommendations.
