ABOUT DIE BRUECKE

Die Bruecke is the official German club at the University of Nairobi. Its membership is drawn from Medical students and students in the German Studies Program under the Department of Linguistics. We are a registered body in the university and enjoy patronage of Dr. Jacob Kaimenyi the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Affairs, Dr. Martin Kollmann, Senior Lecturer in Ophthalmology, Dr. Elisabeth Mueller, DAAD lecturer and head of the German Studies program.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

Our aim is to bring together students interested in the German culture, promote German language learning and liaise with the German community in Kenya for a cross-cultural learning experience. We also provide a forum for undergraduate academic exchanges between German and Kenyan students.
