Track Leads

Health Informatics: Dr. Elisha Toyne Opiyo Omulo

Dr. Opiyo is the Health Informatics Track Lead. He holds a PhD in Computer Science specializing in Multi-Agent Systems Scheduler in a Dynamic Environment Using a Load Optimizing Strategy. He is currently a Lecturer at University of Nairobi.

Health Management: Dr. Njihia James Muranga

Dr. Njihia is the HIV Program Management Track Lead. He holds a PhD in Information Systems. Currently he is a Senior Lecturer and Chairman at the Department of Management Science, University of Nairobi in Information Systems, operations management, project management, and research methods at all levels including the Doctoral Programme.

Health Economics:Dr. Timothy Okech (PhD)

Dr. Okech is the Health Economics Track Lead. He has over fifteen years experience in Health Systems strengthening and policy Analysis focusing on Health care financing and health reforms; Excellent training on economic modeling, writing for publication, case writing, curriculum review, design and development; capacity building in health and international economics.Currently, he is an Asst. Professor of Economics at USIU.

Epidemiology and Biostatistics: Dr. Triza Kinyari

Dr. Kinyari is the Track Lead Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She is aso Lecturer in Medical Physiology and an expert in clinical epidemiology, project design and implementation.

Monitoring and Evaluation: Dr. Raphael Nyonje

Dr. Raphael Nyonje is the Monitoring and Evaluation Track Lead. He is also a Lecturer at the University of Nairobi, Department of Extra Mural Studies; School of Continuing and Distance Education; College of Education and External Studies.
