These proceedings are derived from a workshop facilitated by the School of Economics, University of Nairobi and sponsored by the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) under the Collaborative Research Project on “Poverty, Income Distribution and Labour Market Issues in Sub-Saharan Africa”.
The Collaborative Poverty Project was conceived due to pervasive and worsening poverty in sub-Saharan Africa which calls for research into the nexus of interrelated components consisting of poverty, employment, labour markets, human capital and the fiscal role of government with reference to human resources. |
