1. What is IDS?
Instutute for Development Studies.It was established in 1965
2. What courses do you offer?
We offer masters (M.A) and PHD.PHD is not a taught course,but dome through research.

3.How do i apply?
4. What time do your classes run?
Both the course are regular University of Nairobi courses (i.e not Module II/parallel) Hence runs between 8:00a.m to 5:00p.m.
5. Do you give scholarships?
We do not offer scholarships for the Phd course,However there are limited scholarships for M.A course which are offered based on merit.University of Nairobi graduates given first priority.
6. Are there job placements or attachment programs?
We do not have job placement/attachment programs. However, M.A students may occassionally get part time placement in some ongoing IDS research programmes as project assistants.
7. What is your capability profile?
We admit not more than 15 M.A students per year.

Not at the moment though we are working with two German universities for anexchange program.
